Underfloor heating is a heating system installed during the construction or renovation phase of a house, integrated under the floor.

This is one of the most efficient and homogeneous heating solutions, as the heat is distributed evenly from the floor surface. Since the heat emission is focused on the lowest area of ​​the space, the heat naturally propagates from bottom to top, providing a constant temperature, greater thermal comfort, and more efficient energy use.

Underfloor heating can be divided into two types:

Hydraulic Underfloor Heating: This circulates water at a temperature between 35 and 45ºC. This network of pipes is fed by the central air conditioning system (heat pump, boiler, or heat recovery unit, etc.). Due to its operation at low temperatures, hydraulic underfloor heating is a very energy-efficient system.

Electric Underfloor Heating: Electric underfloor heating consists of a network of cables, which, like hydraulic underfloor heating, is installed below the floor of the house. It is powered by electricity. Due to its thickness, electric underfloor heating is a good option for renovations.
